Although every effort is made, Mountain Bike Tours Australia shall not be liable for any illness, injury, damages, loss, delay or failure to join the tour that may occur due to factors beyond our control. We highly recommend all passenger have travel insurance coverage. Mountain Bike Tours Australia retains the right to alter routes, itineraries, fares, days of operation or even cancel tours if unforeseen circumstances occur. Other accredited tour operators may be used on some tours.
Risk and Waiver
While Mountain Bike Tours Australia will do everything in their ability to inform guests of the dangers of mountain biking, ultimately you are in control of your own bike and must stay in control of your bike at all times.
Before partaking in a Mountain Bike Tours Australia tour you will be required to read, complete and sign an Acknowledgement, Assumption of Risk, Waiver and Release from Liability form. This will be provided when you are picked up. Without completion of this form you will not be allowed to participate.
Cancellations made between 45 and 8 days before departure will result in a 50% cancellation fee. Failure to board or cancellation within 7 days of departure will result in a full fare forfeiture. Mountain Bike Tours Australia will not be held responsible for passengers failing to familiarise themselves with the booking terms and conditions.
In the rare event a tour is cancelled, we will offer another tour date in its place. If this does not work with your travel plans then a full refund will apply.
A $150 per person transfer fee applies to any transfer of service between 45 to 14 days before departure. Transfers within 14 days will result in Cancellation Policy terms.
To guarantee a tour departure, a minimum of 4 people must be booked onto that departure. If a minimum is not reached and a tour is cancelled, we will offer you another tour in its place or if this does not work with your travel plans then a full refund will apply.
It is the responsibility of the bike owner to ensure the bike is up to manufacturers specifications and well maintained. If a self-supplied bike is deemed unsafe or not practical for the activity by the lead guide on tour, Mountain Bike Tours Australia reserves the right to refuse its use. If you have any questions regarding the suitability of your bike, please get in touch prior to your tour for our advice.
Children under 15 are not permitted on our tours. Children over the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the tour, including riding.
In addition to your bike, please keep your luggage restricted to one travel bag.
Any inappropriate luggage presented on the departure day may result in refusal to board.
Bike Box/Bag Storage
We do not have the space to take bike bags or boxes with us on tour.
Space Hotel (our meeting point) have offered guests that stay with them bike and box storage for the duration of your tour.
If you choose to stay elsewhere, please contact your chosen hotel directly in advance to arrange bag/box storage.

By booking a tour with Mountain Bike Tours Australia you are agreeing that we may contact you in relation to feedback about a tour which you have undertaken with us or one of our affiliates. Mountain Bike Tours Australia may contact you via email in relation to specials or promotional offers. In the event you do not wish to receive any correspondence from us, please select the easy opt out button to discontinue any communication.
Pick Up and Drop Off Service
Mountain Bike Tours Australia offer a complimentary inner city pickup and drop off service. Please note it is the customer's responsibility to be waiting out the front of the dedicated pickup locations for their tour at least 10 minutes before departure. Failure to wait out the front of these location may result in the tour guide being unable to locate you, causing failure to board. Mountain Bike Tours Australia cannot be held responsible for passengers who fail to board.
